Yvonne Engler is Head of Global DSCI Therapeutic Areas at Bayer Pharmaceuticals in Germany. She recently took part in Carpe Diem Grande, a remote daily coaching programme of seven minute focused calls, delivered over a 20-day period, designed to focus on leading this change in others and their accountability for navigating a significant culture change.
Paired with a specialist OTD coach, Yvonne was supported in setting realistic, relevant, and bite-sized goals, including weekly objectives, as well as daily ‘stretch’ and ‘celebration’ goals.
Coaching calls challenged thinking, with daily contact driving the focus for the day which ‘quickly became a habit’ : Yvonne liked the ‘fast agile approach to topics’ which built confidence in building momentum for change.
This concentrated coaching accelerated the understanding of ‘how’ to navigate the change both personally and with others.
